I love visiting the gardens – and those maple scones 🙂
I love that you’re super excited about the food!
We went to Crystal Hermitage Gardens for the first time last year and we were blown away by the beauty of the gardens, the architecture and the view. Absolutely stunning. Even though we went in early May when the tulips were almost done for the season. We look forward to going this month while the flowers are in full glory!
Enjoy!!
To be surrounded by such beauty ….. a spring time tradition! Thanks for sharing the photos and information.
Looking forward to going this month!
You know Sandy has a month long pass, you could convince her to go with you!
I’ve never been there and have always wanted to it looks amazing! We will have to check it out this year. Thanks for the opportunity to win tickets!
Happy to help nudge you in the right direction, thank you for playing along.
Beautiful! I’ve never been but would really like to attend one of their weekend retreats.
Always something happening around here!
I’ll go with you!
Not sure of my schedule, but you guys should come join the Folk Trails hike again, Thursday!
This is one of Nevada County’s seasonal treats. So spectacular. And so lovely to be in the serene atmosphere of Ananda.
Agreed… I should put together a top 10 seasonal treats (makes me think of cookies), but you’re right.
I was told about this paradise by a docent at South Yuba River State Park at Bridgeport on my first wildflower hike on Easter Sunday a few years ago. I went on Mother’s Day that year, since they had a mild spring, the garden still had some tulip bloom, left. The garden was that and more! I’ve had the privilege to introduce a number of friends about this incredible place. I am thankful Ananada Village continues to open up their gardens to all to enjoy! The BEST kept secret!
An oh yes, please remember to bring some one dollar bills so you can purchase one of those incredible scones. Don’t forget to try one with the homemade whipped cream. YUM, YUM, YUM!
I would like to ad that the folks are very warm, welcoming and kind, too. They do an incredible job to make you, their guest, feel warm and welcome, too.
Those are such lovely things to say!
I would love to go this year! It’s a beautiful spot!
I hope you make it out there.
Beautiful photos. It must be a spectacular display of tulips. I’ve never visited before but I hope to get a chance to go this year!
Congrats, you won!!!
It’s such a beautiful garden. We plan to go visit again this year.
Have a fabulous time, who can resist flowers?
I’ve been hearing about these gardens for years. This year I am definitely going!
Sounds like a great plan, happy to help remind you.
I try to go every year. Its so worth the effort.
I would love to see the tulips and gardens. I have only seen friends’ photos and imagine it would be superior in person.
The gardens are in such an amazing spot above the Middle Fork, I love our home!
I’ve never been and have always wanted to go! Maple scones?! Yum!!
So beautiful! I’d never heard of this! Thanks for introducing me 🙂
I first traveled to Ananda from San Francisco in 1972 to visit a friend who lived there, and there was only one building and open land. Now I live in Nevada County and Ananda is a visual treat, and the thousands of tulips, other flowers and design are spectacular–including the cherry tree that drops blossoms in the pond and the view of the river far below.
This sounds like a wonderful event! Thanks for the reminder, Erin!
April 9 Is my birthday and I’d enjoy winning 2 tix to take a friend to the gardens on my birthday and take photos.
I would love to win. I had wanted to visit for many years.
