The ASiF, Artists’ Studio in the Foothills, Smallworks Art Showcase opens on Friday, November 8th, with a reception from 5-8pm. With over 75 local artists showcasing their paintings, drawings, prints, photographs, mixed-media art, jewelry, mosaics, glass and sculptural pieces, all measuring under 12 inches. ASiF owner Amanda Paoletti says this exhibit is a perfect opportunity to buy a “one of a kind piece perfect for your holiday gift giving.” Since the show continues through January 8th and works can be sold off the walls the pieces will change, so if you don’t make it to the opening reception, or the holiday open house on December 7th, stop into the gallery, they’re open Tuesday-Saturday 11am-4pm. Local artist Sheila Cameron said, “It’s my first time doing this show. I’m excited to participate and do a little shopping too!” Artists showcased in today’s blog post include Molly Fisk, Kathryn Wronksi, Roseanne Burke, Kath Schad, Sheila Cameron, Taya Malakian, Odette Brush, Sharon Griffith, Denise Wey, Michelle Reynolds and Eileen Blodgett.© 2013 InnSide Nevada City
