Nevada City Winery

Nevada City Winery photosBecome a wine maker for a day?  Normally I just enjoy drinking wine, but yesterday I took part in the Nevada City Winery’s annual Bottle Your Own Wine party.  The winery opens up their barrel rooms and invites people to sample wine and learn the bottling process.  Winemaker Mark Foster made a special variety Zinfandel and Petite Sirah for the occasion.  After bottling, corking, foiling and hand signing the bottles we got to enjoy some delicious cheese from Shaft Cheese, food from Antonio Ayestaran and live music.  Cheers!Nevada City Winery Event PhotosNevada City Winery, Gold Country Wine Tasting© 2013 InnSide Nevada City, © Photos by Erin Thiem
