Opening its 22nd season Community Asian Theatre of the Sierra presents, Chinglish by David Henry Hwang.  The play, directed by Annie Lareau, is about love and culture lost in translation.  The comedy follows an American business trying to land a deal in China.  “CATS is pleased to be one of the few theater companies in the nation that is producing Chinglish since its premiere in 2011.  The challenge has been finding actors who can speak fluent Mandarin.  And we found them!  Audiences will not be disappointed in this comedy about the complexities of communication,” said Executive Director Jeannie Wood.  The preview night is Thursday, April 7th and runs at the Nevada Theatre till April 30 (Thursday-Friday-Saturday evenings and Sunday matinee).  Tickets available online or at BriarPatch Co-op.
