Celebration of Trails Weekend, Bear Yuba Land Trust

With the warmer days, Nevada County Celebration of Trails Weekend is a great way to motivate to get outside and enjoy local trails. Bear Yuba Land Trust kicks off the celebration with the Fireside Chat at the Inn Town Campground Thursday, May 31st with Hank Meals (6-7:30pm).

Nature Walk at Burton Homestead Preserve, 9:30 – 11:30 am, Sunday, June 3
Family Hike on the Hirschman Trail with FREED, 10am, Sunday, June 3
No – Drop XCountry Trail Ride with BONC, 9am, Sunday, June 3
Walk on Wolf Creek Trail with Wolf Creek Community Alliance, 10:30 am – noon; Sunday, June 3
Lone Grave Loop Equestrian Ride, 11 a.m, Sunday, June 3

In addition to the trail events, you can stop the Ol Republic Roadhouse (former 5 Mile House) on Highway 20 in Nevada City for a fun family-friendly trails day festival from 12pm to 5 p.m, with shuttle options by Yuba Bus or the Ol Republic Brewery Tap Room from 3pm to 8pm. Vendors this year include: Bicyclists of Nevada County, Gold Country Trails Council, Pacific Crest Trail Association, Forest Trails Alliance, Yuba Trails Stewardship, Tahoe National Forest, Sierra Club-Sierra Nevada Group, State Parks, Sierra Fund, Two Chicks Beef Jerky, Gold Crush Climbing Gym, Mountain Recreation, Yuba Bus, KVMRx, Folk Trails Hiking Club, City of Grass Valley, City of Nevada City, County of Nevada, Nevada Irrigation District, FREED and more!
