Sierra Stages presents Company
Sierra Stages kicks of their 2014 season with a production of Stephen Sondheim’s Tony award-winning production of “Company.” The musical comedy debuts on Thursday, February 27th at the Nevada Theatre and continues through March 23rd. Go check out Robert’s relationship turmoil, his 3 girlfriends and his close group of married friends. The play is a series of short vignettes in no particular order, a “concept musical” that debuted on Broadway in the 1970’s, but many of the adult themed problems are still very relevent to today. You can buy tickets online, at Briar Patch Co-op or by calling the ticket office, or better yet, you can buy a season pass for all three Sierra Stages shows. The Outside Inn’s blog has a pair of tickets to give away, please post a comment on this blog post telling us your favorite relationship advice and I’ll draw the winner on Wednesday, March 5th*. The winner of the Mud & Pearls class is Katrina. © 2014 InnSide Nevada City, © Photos by Erin Thiem , *Tickets available for any show March 6th-March 15th
Best relationship advice? Are you kidding?! How about this: read the Outside Inn blog, and don’t be afraid to be a tourist in your own town?
Can’t wait. Love Syd’s response…home is still my favorite tourist spot.
best relationship advice!? i once heard an interview on npr talking about this same thing. the interviewee gave some sound advice: bathroom time is private time. make a rule to always close the door. it’s funny because it’s true.
this year one of my resolutions is to attend more community theater. so far i’ve been to 2 plays, and i’m looking forward to this show!
Relationship advice, LISTEN. HEAR,
Best advice: Only commit to those who are close friends. Marry your best friend. That way, when you’re angry as all get out at each other, you’ll still want to talk and laugh.
Spend time doing something together on a regular basis (like going to see a play!)
Love it….
No relationship is better than a bad relationship.
What sage advice!
