Cornish Christmas

Hello holidays!  Cornish Christmas, celebrated its 50th anniversary in downtown Grass Valley tonight.  If you missed this week don’t worry the outdoor street fair continues for the next couple weeks (December 1st, 8th, 15th and 22nd).  The event includes merchants, artists and food trucks through out Mill Street and part of Main Street.  In addition the stores are open for holiday shoppers.  Carolines Coffee served their holiday drinks, An Honest Pie had sweet and savory pies, plus other goodies ranged from kettle corn to tacos.  The downtown Grass Valley wine tasting rooms were open and welcoming, thanks Smith Vineyard, Avanguardia Wines, Lucchesi Vineyards and Sierra Starr Vineyards.  You can also listen to the Grass Valley Cornish Carol Choir, watch the Tommyknocker Cloggers and catch up with friends.  Nevada City Victorian Christmas kicks off on Sunday, December 3rd.  If you’re looking for more information on more Thanksgiving weekend events, check out the recent blog post.   Happy holidays!
