Thanksgiving Cycling Events

Eat too much turkey?  Maybe it’s time to get outside and enjoy some fresh air!  This weekend there are a number of great outdoor themed events, if you missed the Turkey Trot there’s still time to join the Bear Yuba Land Trust Turkey Trek.  If you’d rather go on your own hike check out the Art OnSite on Deer Creek Tribute Trail or any one of my favorite Nevada County hikes.  But if you want to ride your bike this weekend don’t miss the YBONC Take A Kid Mountain Biking Event on Sunday, December 1st at Lyman Gilmore.  If you need even more of a challenge check out the Sacramento Cyclecross event at Condon Park.  The Grass Valley event  is hosted by Tour of Nevada City Bicycle Shop from 9am-3pm, photo below of Real Wheels Bicycle Shop owner Chris McGovern.
