Outside Inn Updates

Outside Inn

Downtown Nevada City
During this holiday season, we want to let our customers and locals know that we’re thinking of them and despite not being able to see one-another, we appreciate you all and look forward to brighter days this coming spring.  We are now under a new shelter in place mandate; many of our guests have rescheduled their visits to Nevada City and we have greatly restricted operations at our businesses.  Despite our scaling back to meet the new mandate, we’re still here, serving those with essential needs.  There are many reasons people will still need to travel during this time, but please remember that staying home is best for everyone.  If that’s not possible, we will continue to offer a welcoming, clean place to stay in Nevada City. If you have any questions, please reach out to us, we’re available by phone between 10am-6pm every day.

For those who do need to stay in Nevada City, there are a number of services still operating.  Nevada City restaurants are adapting to the ever-changing guidelines, with take-out options and heat-and-serve meals to go.  Retail and grocery shops are also still open with reduced capacity.  Our kitchenettes provide light cooking facilities for guests and are a good option for minimizing interactions while staying for whatever essential reasons you require.  We’re working on updating our website with additional information on what other services and local businesses are open, so please stay tuned as we continue to support and serve our community.

As we have since March, our operations are modified to provide the safest stay possible.  Our office will remain closed and all check-in / check-out will be remote.  We have implemented enhanced, industry standardized cleaning protocols that include cleaning, sanitizing and the use of a disinfectant fogger, which require specified contact times.  Unfortunately, this means our cleaning takes longer and we cannot accommodate early check-ins or late check-outs.

In the mean-time we’re working on 101 reasons to visit Nevada City in 2021; so stay tuned for a great round-up of all the things we love about our community and what to look forward to in the coming year.  Again, happy holidays, happy 2021 (can’t wait!) and please be kind, thoughtful and safe with each other and within your communities.
