Downtown Grass Valley
Downtown Grass Valley’s annual Open House this year was themed “Holiday Market” to help showcase local businesses. Seventeen different merchants participated in the event. I popped in and took photos at Yuba Blue, The Olive Groove, Heart and Home, Caroline’s Coffee, The Book Seller, La Te Da, Tess’ Kitchen Store, Cult of Gemini and The Artist Workshop.
“It was fantastic to work with promoting the downtown merchants in Grass Valley. We were happy to see town full of visitors all day who were exploring our local shops and areas,” said GVDA Director Marni Marshall. Special to this year’s event was an appearance of Santa’s elves and a Mr. and Mrs. Claus, just a prelude of getting ready for the holidays.
You can see a full list of Grass Valley shops on the Grass Valley Downtown Association website. What’s on your local shopping list? And don’t forget to mark your calendars for the Grass Valley Cornish Christmas, Friday evenings starting November 24th- December 22nd.
