Draft Horse Classic, Nevada County Fairgrounds

The 28th annual Draft Horse Classic has returned to the Nevada County Fairgrounds. Known as one of the premier Draft Horse shows in the western United States, it’s a great opportunity to see the gentle giant Draft Horses up close. Click here for a schedule of Draft Horse performances, including Tommie Turvey, equine extremist. The event goes through Sunday, with the Harvest Festival, Bounty of the County by Nevada County Grown, BBQ cook-off and musical entertainment, plus vendors, Treat Street and art displays.
