Elixart
Have you been into Elixart? The fine art gallery, located at 408 Broad Street, recently transitioned from a photography gallery to showcase of local artists and tea bar. Currently on display are works by Jay Schuff, Lisa Deniz, Keith Homan and Jivan Swann. A variety of events are in the works for Elixart, one not to miss is the Kava and Cacao Party. The tea bar offers a selection of teas including, oolong tea, white and pu-erh tea. Elixart has offered up a free tastings of one of their teas to one InnSide Nevada City blog reader, just post a comment on this blog post saying which variety you’d like to try and I’ll post the winner on Tuesday, March 12th.
I’d like to try some Jasmine Pearls white tea. I’ve had white tea at home but never made by a pro.

Apparently I need to pop in to Elixart… I love tea (and art). I will have to try pur-eh tea (did I spell that right?) since I don’t even know what it is!!

Thanks Marjorie, the great thing is that it’s done the same thing for me, never would’ve wandered in and had a chat with the shopkeeper or organization, if I wasn’t on a blog mission. Such a joy to capture our community.
Add this to the places to visit… White peony & plum blossom sound interesting!
I’d like to try some of the Oolong tea. Plum Blossom sounds nice.
