Enid and Edgar Vintage
Enid and Edgar Vintage has moved to 234 Commercial Street, the former home of The Parlour (which moved in with Neva Co). So if you’re looking for some vintage clothes, shoes or accessories, stop by and check out their new location. The shop has unique one of kind clothes, shoes and accessories ranging from the 1940′s to the early 90′s. If you’re style has a bit of a bohemian feel then this is a great place for you, Sandy promises that they have more, “more kid’s vintage pieces, handmade items, records and books.” I was intrigued by Nicole’s Hexerei jewelery. Open Thursday-Monday from 1-6 (and open late on Fridays and Saturdays), or if you’re out of town check out their Etsy shop. Sandy and Jason has offered one lucky InnSide Nevada City blog reader a gift certificate for $35, post a comment on your favorite vintage item and I’ll draw the winner on Wednesday, March 12th. The winner of the tickets to see the Sierra Stages production of Company is Sheila Cameron. © 2014 InnSide Nevada City, © Photos by Erin Thiem
So cute! I love that black shirt…wish I was closer, I’d come by and scoop it up!
Well if you win maybe they’ll let you go shopping in their etsy shop? Or maybe you’ll use it as an excuse to come visit again?
i love this shop! i drool over all the boots
I love the Mexican dress, black with bright flowers. I remember wearing them in San Diego, so close to the border. They are comfortable and cool!
That black clutch is catching my eye.
I remember those rainbow t-shirts from the late 70s. I had a couple of classmates who had them and I always wished I had one, too.
The hats are super cute and adorable. Classics and ageless.
Bling-bling is always a big fav for me whenever I go into a vintage shop and I always seem to have a piece join me.
I love how folks give new life to vintage items, either by resale or repurpose!
Supporting a small, local business is always good, too!
Classics and ageless….love that!
best vintage store in town! hi Sandy!
So glad you’re a fan, I can see some stylish model in some photo shoot of yours decked out in something fabulous from the shop– or maybe you need something fun?

It’s so great to share the vintage love with such sweet folks! The new shop looks great!
I just went to a ’40s dance and big band concert! This would have been the perfect place to shop! I’ll have to check it out… looks like fun!
Thanks Denise, sounds like a fun concert, what did you wear to that event? The great thing about Enid and Edgar is that their stock is constantly changing, so you’ll have to keep coming back.
I found a vintage dress. Black, full skirt, pretty collar and rhinestone buttons all the way down the front of the dress.
It was the event my Mom chose to go to, down near her house, and we went to celebrate her 92nd birthday! All 4 of her kids attended with her!
Thank you for selecting me as the Enid and Edgar Vintage gift certificate winner!
I am excited to get something classic and ageless!
Nevada City and Nevada County is calling me with her beautiful shops and spring wildflower bloom!
Yeah! Glad you saw this, meant to email you, but it hadn’t made it off my to do list. Do you want to collect in person?
