Fall photo contest #NevadaCityColor

Happy Thanksgiving!  I hosted a fall colors photo contest to celebrate the natural beauty of Nevada City and Grass Valley and I have to say I was blown away with the entries.  Thank you to everyone who played along, many of these photos can be seen on Instagram with the hashtag #nevadacitycolor.  Photo credits go to Nancy Nelson, Kathy Frey, Roseanne Burke, Waking Crow Studios, Ryan HoffmanHolly Fike, Shannon Ronan, Kial JamesCody Joseph Painter, Lori Spencer,  Chandra Hall, Shawndra Kuffel, Simon Weller, Megan McCollam, Liam Ruff, Amber Magnolia Hill, Christina Smith, Jim Pyle, Sean Duggan, Lily Gicker, Lynette, Cat, Jordan Damm, David Cross, Katie and Mellisa Hannum.

And the winner of my little prize is Kial James.  As a visual person I really enjoyed seeing our town through the eyes of others, I think we’ll have to do this again.  For those of you who don’t use Instagram, you can always play along either via the Outside Inn’s Facebook page or just email me the photos.  And for those of you who submitted and your photos didn’t make this blog post, please know that I spent far too much time agonizing over which photos to share and had a really hard time choosing.  Leave a comment on your favorite fall colors photos and maybe your suggestion on the next theme?
