First Friday Art Walk
Another amazing First Friday Art Walk in downtown Nevada City (June, July and August were also a lot of fun). Thanks Cynthia, from Neva Co, for organizing a great way to showcase our little town, our shops and our artists. I’ll let the photos do the talking, but I’ve got photos of the Outside Inn’s Chalk It Up sidewalk fun, Community Canvas, Sheila Cameron’s art in Neva Co, Kathryn Wronski painting in the window of Gray Goose. And below I’ve got Molly Fisk in J.J. Jackson’s, the Pop Up Gallery featuring Ursula Young and Tiffany McGurkin, Ishaan Judd, Judi’s featuring pottery by Linda Elfert, Clavey Vineyard’s “Windows“, Calanan Park Outdoor “pop up” gallery and yarn bombing by Karma, Mowen Solinsky Gallery, Szabo Vineyards, Kitkitdizzi, Emily’s Catering event restaurant, Elixart, live music outside Phoenix Rose, Douglas Hooper’s art in Java John’s and last, but not least, the Earles of Newtown rocking it on the Nevada City Boardawalk. And the crazy part, there was so much more… What was your favorite part of the event?
So nice to meet you last night, Erin, finally in person! Thanks for all your photos and for how tenderly you showcase our sweet town and all its multifarious shenanigans…
Earls of Newton were pretty darn wonderful. Such a nice moment for First Friday Artwalk! Who do we need to pay to keep those fun lights up over The NC Boardwalk?
Oh the lights are just perfect. I agree. Keep them up!
Beautiful photos, beautiful people. Thanks for capturing the evening so well, Erin. You’re great promotion for our county, since I often forward your blog to non-resident friends.
