Golden Era Lounge
The Golden Era Lounge opened their doors tonight. Located at 309 Broad Street, where Cirino’s, the new cocktail bar offers handcrafted cocktails, premium local wines, and craft beers. Live music tonight by Leta’s Acid Lounge with Jacob Aginsky. Examples of signature drinks include the Nevada City Swizzle (rum, pisco, lime, raspberry syrup, Peychaud’s Bitters and Seltzer), the Gold Rush Sour (Bourbon, lemon, vanilla syrup, orange bitters and egg whites) or the Grass Valley Girl (gin, lime, orange syrup, cucumber, seltzer and orange bitters). Try the house red wine, a special blend from Nevada City Winery. If you’re looking for a nonalcoholic option try their soda fountain drinks, ginger beer, cream soda or raspberry phosphate. The new bar will be open Wednesday-Sunday and available for private parties on Tuesdays. Leave a comment and welcome Golden Era to downtown Nevada City.

I will be coming back up there for a visit Dec 16 – Jan 5 I will be sure and stop by and check the place out. I moved away from Nevada City 4 yrs ago. I miss it so much. Great addition to NC. Think I will bring my mom in for her birthday.

Yay! Finally! NC was in dire need of a nice bar. Seems like we have plenty of wine bars and dive bars but we were sorely lacking a upscale bar and lounge! Can’t wait to check it out!
