Grass Valley Car Show

Grass Valley Car ShowDowntown Grass Valley hosted their 29th annual car show today, showcasing over 350 classic cars.  All cars dated from 1972 or before and ranged from hot rods, classics, one-of-a kind and rat rods.  Organized by the Grass Valley Downtown Association the event allows car enthusiasts and visitors to get a up close and personal look at a huge selection of vintage cars.  It was great to see so many people out enjoy the day, whether they were listening to the live music, shopping in one of the downtown shops or grabbing a bite to eat at the “pit stop” of street vendors.  We took a photo by the Nevada City Soapbox Derby Mr. Potato Head car, bought a book at The Bookseller and cast our vote for the best of show.  Did you make it to the event?  What was your favorite car?  And the winner of the Buttermilk Bend postcards is Allison.Grass Valley Car ShowGrass Valley Vintage Car Show
