Happy Birthday America, Music in the Mountains Concert
Happy Birthday America! Last night’s Music in the Mountains SummerFest finale had a little bit of everything, from patriotic tunes to Hollywood and Broadway favorites. The family friendly concert was a great way to spend a warm summer evening with friends, we brought our lawn chairs and enjoyed a Lazy Dog ice cream and cold beverage. The plane fly over got the crowd going, but the tribute to the servicemen who have served our country was probably the most touching moment of the event. For more photos of some of the Music in the Mountains summer concerts click here for John Taber’s Live Shots albums. Happy 4th of July, we’ll see you at the Nevada City parade (starts at 11am) and perhaps at the Nevada County Fairgrounds for the fireworks show, have a great day and be safe.
