Happy New Year

Happy New Year!  I’ve been thinking of a few reasons why I love our little town.

Small Town Community.  I love that we live in a town that organized a parade for Evan Strong’s Paraolympic Gold Medal, the hosts the Wild & Scenic Film Festival and celebrates the arts in numerous ways.  I love that the Outside Inn won crowd favorite at the Soapbox Derby and every day in the summer I’m reminded of how blessed our community is by watching the donation and collecting from the Outside Inn’s free vegetable stand.  I was blown away by this year’s Crazy Outside Inn Blog giveaway.  If you need a reminder about how fabulous the merchants and organizations are, check out the lengthy list of items that went to one very lucky winner… and if you want to have even more good cheer, read the comments.  Below is a collage of some photos to help spark some of the memories over the last year.  In no particular order 10 of my favorite blog posts of 2014 are:  Farm to Table Dinner, First Friday Art Walk, Inn Town Campground, Outside Inn Free Veggie Cart, South Yuba River, Deer Creek Tribute Trail, Fall Colors,  Summer Things to do with Kids, National Trails Day and Uncorked.  There are so many amazing reasons to love our community, too many to list, to be honest, but thank you for following along on the Outside Inn’s blog InnSide Nevada City.  Here’s to another year of fun events, lots of photos, local adventures, shameless plugs and more giveaways!
