Are you looking to celebrate art this holiday season? If you’re looking for a unique gift, or a one of a kind piece, consider supporting local artists this season. November and December is a great time of the year to check out a local art showcase, craft fair or exhibit in Nevada City or Grass Valley. Thanks for including the Nevada County Plein Air Painters Holiday Sale. Our sale will be at the Nevada City Veterans Hall, 415 N. Pine St., Nevada City, on Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 16 & 17, 10 am – 5 pm on Sat and 10 am – 4 pm on Sun. Sixteen artists will have affordable art with originals, prints, and cards in oil, watercolor, pastel, and acrylic. There will also be original black and white fine art photography, beautifully turned wood vessels, colorful weaving including scarves and wearable clothing, and beautiful landscapes painted on fabric and then quilted. Hope to see everyone there!
