Holiday Cheer
Holiday cheer from your friends at the Outside Inn. I was trying to think of what images made me think of the holidays in Nevada City, and I got extremely side tracked looking at everything from Christmas trees, to holiday drinks and wine tasting, to local shopping ideas, elves who visited the Outside Inn and holiday events. Originally I was going to share photos from the InConcert Sierra concert over the weekend, but I was so mesmerized by the music I forgot to take any photos. (Click here to see a lovely capture by Ed Hensley). So I can’t come up with one single image or idea the sums up the holiday spirit in our community. Two years ago I wrote a post about last-minute holiday shopping ideas, click here for those ideas. For those procrastinators who still want to play along with the Outside Inn’s Blog Crazy Giveaway, there’s still time. Winner will be announced Christmas morning, click here for the blog post and if you can’t figure out how to post a comment, click here for the Inn’s FAQ. If you wanted a good example of holiday cheer the giveaway post is a great showcase of small town love, not only in the giveaway items but also the comments. If that doesn’t cheer you up, we’ll send over the elves to say hi. And if you’re in the neighborhood of the Outside Inn after dark make sure to slow down to see our cool holiday lasers on our creekside patio, Lasers and Lights has some great holiday light options.
