Humble Fabrics and Crafts
Have you been to Humble Fabrics and Crafts in Grass Valley? The new and pre-owned craft supplies with fabric, yarn and crafting supplies. You can try DecorArt Americana Decor Chalky finish paints, or buy some fabric pieces for a Harvest Festival project or shop in one of vendor booths by either Rust, Dust & Roses or Starry Deborah. Roxy, Humble Fabrics owner, says she’s got something for everyone at very affordable prices. They are located at 1451 E. Main Street in Grass Valley, not far past the Sierra College/Dorsey Drive intersection and they’re open Tuesday-Saturdays. The Outside Inn’s blog has two $10 gift certificates to give away, please post a comment here on your next crafting project and I’ll draw the winners on Wednesday, September 17th. And the winner for the tickets to the Fire Safe Council Spaghetti feed is Donna Loper.

I love Humble Fabrics! Great prices, fun selection of crafting treasures and Roxy, the owner, is super sweet and helpful. Unlike many big box craft stores, $10 will go a long way here!
Sounds like fun
Thank you Erin! You always take such beautiful pictures. Roxy always make crafting fun and affordable.
Your stuff is so cute Ellie, so great to see it so well displayed too.
The current project is woven towels but I’m sure I’ll be working on cards (love your classes Erin!) Congrats to Donna – see you at the FSC Spaghetti Feed tomorrow!
Are your woven towels the sort of things you’d never get to use b/c they they look so pretty? Yeah for cards… (I just did a purge of my craft room and the items went to Humble!).
Wow, how fun! My on-going project is teaching myself how to sew 🙂
Sounds like fun, I’m sure you could find all sorts of sewing goodies at Humble.
Right now my project is my house… Finish organize it! We just moved in! My next project I’m hoping will be to make three little doll carriers for my little girls to “Babywear” their dolls and stuff animals!
I’m not sure if organizing ever gets done? Sounds like a fun doll carrier project.
Excited to see you did a blog post on them! I’m starting to work on fall/Halloween decorations. I’ll need some paint for sure.
You need a stellar costume, remember all those darlings you have to help while working at the Outside Inn on Halloween night?
I love crafting and sewing. I will have to stop by and see what they have.
In the middle of finishing a quilt and need to make a vest for my boy next. Love this store 🙂
Great store, lots of fun. The new location is a plus. I’m knitting curtains this fall in hopes of a wet & stormy winter!
One of my very favorite places in town! Roxy has the best collection of beautiful fabrics and little oddities! I am inspired every time I visit 🙂
What a great team: Erin, the best blogger this side of the Mississippi, and Roxy, the most creative, competent, nice, merchant in town!!! Love to see all the good things going on at Humble’. Hope to visit again soon.
Blessings, Erin. Keep up your great work.
Laurel ( Ellie’s mom, Erin’s student, and Roxy’s customer)
