Ike’s Quarter Cafe
It’s that time of the year when you have to walk up Commercial Street to check out the Cherry Blossom tree blooming on the patio at Ike’s Quarter Cafe. The Louisiana cuisine restaurant has been “Keepin it Creole” since 2001 and serving up breakfast and lunch to lots of locals and visitors. You can check out their menu online, but I’d recommend the Banana Brown Sugar and Pecan French Toast or the BBQ Ham and Cheddar Melt. Ike’s uses locally sourced organic ingredients and has options for gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan options. Open Thursday-Monday 8am-3pm and now accepting credit cards. What’s your favorite dish? When you stop by Ike’s this weekend please tell them the Outside Inn sent you. Click here for more spring time ideas of things to do in Nevada City & Grass Valley. Post a comment on this blog post to be in the draw for a $15 gift certificate to Ike’s Quarter Cafe, winner will be announced on Wednesday, March 16th. And the winner of last week’s Sierra Stages giveaway is David.
