Inn Town Campground

Inn Town Campground, Nevada City CampingThe Outside Inn is proud to share our exciting new venture, the Inn Town Campground.  We have been working on this idea since our time and travels in New Zealand when we fell in love with kiwi holiday parks.  We spent 2 1/2 months travelling around New Zealand in a campervan and really came to appreciate the camping experience that provided family friendly amenities (like a playground, swimming pool, communal kitchen, close to town, etc).  Since returning from New Zealand, we have been searching for the right property in the Nevada City area to open our own “holiday park”.  So…we are so excited to say that after a year of working behind the scenes we have secured a use permit for a 15 acre property in Nevada City and will soon start the development of the Inn Town Campground.

The Inn Town Campground will offer a range of family friendly camping options including pitch-your-own tent sites, RV spaces with full hook ups and glamping tents (canvas tents, complete with electricity, a real bed and linens!).  Nestled in the heart of the 15 acre property’s towering pine and cedar forest will be a communal building full of comfortable amenities like a camp store, kitchen, laundry, T.V. and reading nooks, swimming pool and BBQ area.

We hope to open the campground in the summer of 2016, but in the meantime, we welcome you to follow the building process, either on the Inn Town Campground’s website, Facebook or Instagram account.  And since we all know I love a good contest, I hear there’s a fun giveaway over on the Inn Town Campground’s blog, cheers!  And the winner of the free McCourtney Road Pumpkin is Jason.

My wife and I traveled around the country and the world for 12 years in an RV. We’ve managed and started parks for owners who had a dream but, didn’t have the knowledge. Annie is a Kiwi. We lived and managed parks in New Zealand on and off for three years as well. We retired from that lifestyle 2 years ago. Drop us a line if you ever need advise.

I promise the Outside Inn will shout out again about this project, but the pricing and information for the campground will be the Inn Town Campground’s website, with options for all campers.
