InnSide Nevada City Photography at Matteo’s
Photos from the Outside Inn’s blog, InnSide Nevada City, are currently on display on the walls of the Matteo’s, a downtown Nevada City restaurant. We all know I take a lot of photos, but this is a big leap of faith for me to print them and offer them up for sale. The 25 images are all from different local blog posts, some of the South Yuba River, some of local events like the Nevada City Classic, Wild & Scenic Film Festival, First Friday Art Walk, Mardi Gras Parade, Farm to Table dinner,fall colors, spring flowers, local vegetables and more. Each print has a few details about where it was taken and a QR code to take you back to the original blog post. The opening reception for the showcase is Tuesday, May 27th from 5-7pm, open to the public. Stop in, order a glass of your favorite beverage and have a pub snack (happy hour at Matteo’s is from 4-6pm). Live music will be playing on the patio, click here for a list of the current music calendar. Matt has offered up a special giveaway for the blog, lunch for two (valid Tuesday-Friday) and I’ve got a pack of Nevada City postcards to give away, so please post a comment on this blog and I’ll draw the winner on Wednesday, May 28th. The show will be up till July 7th, so plenty of time to stop in and check out the photographs. And thanks to each and every one of you who has supported me on this project, from those of you who were with me while I took the photos, to those of you who cheered me on from the side lines and to our community that provides me inspiration each and every day.
