McBurney Christmas Tree Farm
Looking for a Christmas tree? Check out McBurney Christmas Tree Farm off Highway 174 in Cedar Ridge. Walk the farm and choose between Douglas Fir, White Fir and Red Fir and once you’ve selected your perfect tree you can either cut it down yourself, or ask the helpful staff members to help you. It’s a great family friendly activity, with free juice and coffee to enjoy around the fire pit. Support your local farmers and pick a tree that’s Nevada County Grown. And once you have your tree there are lots of great local places to shop for your ornaments! Make sure to check out Neva Co, Yuba Blue, Prospector’s Nursery, J.J. Jackson’s, Foothill Mercantile or Ben Franklin for some fun options to help decorate your tree. The holiday season is upon us, hard to believe it’s almost December. Mark you calendars for Cornish Christmas (Friday 12/4, 12/11 and 12/18) and Victorian Christmas (12/6, 12/13, 12/15, 12/20 and 12/23). And for those of you who remember my annual big blog giveaway… stay tuned, it’s coming soon!

I guess it shouldn’t be surprising that there are so many Christmas tree farms in the area. Thanks for sharing this one!
Just like the suggestion of going on a taco crawl, I guess I should go on a tree tour….
You’re putting the spirit of Christmas in me! Thank you!
So excited to find this. As a McBurney, I can’t wait to visit!
