McCourtney Road Pumpkins

McCourtney Road Pumpkins, Nevada County Kid Friendly Activities, photos by Lenkaland PhotographyPumpkin time!  Have you been for a visit to the new McCourtney Road Pumpkins?  The pumpkin patch is open Saturdays and Sundays 10am-5pm and offers an antique tractor, craft booth, hay ride, pumpkin patch and “low-key family fun,” says owner Andy Barhydt.  They have pumpkins ranging in price from $3, $5 and $8 and a guess the weight of the giant pumpkin (winner gets to take the pumpkin home).  The family oriented pumpkin patch welcomes you to come out, check out the train, hay ride, toss a bean bag, bring a picnic and take a fall photo.  Open till Halloween or till they run out of pumpkins, they’re located at 20267 McCourtney Rd in Grass Valley.  Post a comment on your favorite fall activity and I’ll draw one winner to win a coupon for a free $5 pumpkin form McCourtney Road Pumpkins.  Winner will be announced on Thursday, October 16th.
