Mi Pueblo Taqueria
Mi Pueblo Taqueria, the downtown Nevada City version of El Agave opened today. Owner Celenne Nungaray welcomes both locals and visitors to their new location. The restaurant, located at 104 Union Street, next door to the Nevada City Chamber, will be open 7 days a week starting at 9am till 9pm, open later on weekends. Stop in for fajitas burritos, fish tacos, nachos, ceviche, chorizo & bean, taco salad, chimichanaga, carne asada, carnitas and sweet treats. Or maybe you want a cold beer, margarita or horchata? Now I’m sure we’re all hungry… so post a comment on what you want and I’ve got three $5 gift certificate to giveaway away. Winners will be announced on November 22nd. Hilarious! I just treked down the hill to get a fix at El Agave last week. Oh well, I don’t think I could have held back from my chile relleno pollo asado wet burrito much longer. So glad it’ll be closer now!!!

It looked like the whole family was there tonight. Their roots are in Jalisco state in Mexico, which is where tequila comes from. Also my favorite place to vacation. Wonderful to have this in Nevada City!!
