Montoliva Vineyard and Winery

Looking for a fun weekend adventure, drive out to Chicago Park and meet Montoliva Vineyard and Winery’s Mark Henry. The brewmaster turned wine maker will share his love for Italian Varietals, whether its the  Sangiovese, Aglianico or Primitivo.  The tasting room is open Saturday and Sundays from 12-5, directions can be found here.  Mark says if you mention that you read about his winery on the Outside Inn’s blog he’ll pull out a special library wine for you to sample.   Do you have a favorite local wine?  We went home with the Sierra Bella and Negromaro, cheers!
