Nevada City Fall colors photos by Erin Thiem/ Outside Inn

I seriously love fall.  I love the fall leaves, the changing colors, the crisp mornings, the final breath of fresh air after mother nature blessed us with some rain.  When the rain clears if you want to take a walk around either downtown Nevada City or Grass Valley, click here for the online fall colors walking map.  The other fun walk is the Nevada City Tree Tour, click here for more information.  And I promise I’ll keep posting more fall photos on the Outside Inn Instagram account.

Other fun fall activities can include– shopping for a pumpkin at McCourtney Road Pumpkins, Bierwagon’s Pumpkin Patch, Bridgeport Fall Festival (Sunday, October 26th), find your Halloween costume at Solstice,  Nevada City Halloween Parade, trick or treating at the Outside Inn’s haunted pathway, Fright Night,  Altar Show, or the Miners Foundry Artisan Festival (November 28th and 29th).  What’s your favorite fall pastime?  Post a comment here and share.  And remember there’s still time for my ski giveaway and the gift certificate to Nourish.

I really love fall too – fall veggies and all of the pumpkin and gourd decorations. The colors are fantastic – lots of inspiration there for projects. Maybe I also just like it ‘cos I can celebrate my birthday. 🙂
