Nevada City Summer Camp Fair
Do you have the kids’ summer activities all planned? There are lots of great summer camps, activities and workshops for children in the community, if you need any additional information or want to meet the camp counselors, the Nevada City Summer Camp Fair is a great event. The 7th annual event is coming this Saturday, May 5th, 10am- 2pm at the Vet’s Hall in downtown Nevada City, hosted in partnership with the Parents Resource Guide. There will be a bounce house for the kids, so feel free to bring the kids along. Nevada City and Grass Valley summer camps provide kids the opportunity to act, create, explore nature, work on a farm, swimming and much, much more. Really, the hardest choice is figuring out which program works for your child.
Summer Camp Vendors attending the Nevada City Summer Camp Fair include: Bear River Recreation & Park District, Camp Gold Hollow, Cedar Ridge Equine, Climate Change Agents Camp – NCCC, Camp Rockin ‘U, Community Canvas, Fox Walkers/4 Elements of Earth Education, Full STEAM Ahead’s Summer STEAM Camp, Gold Country Gymnastics, Gold Country Kuk Sool Won Martial Arts Adventure Summer Day Camp, Gold Country Youth Soccer League, Gravity Camp, Nevada City Parks & Recreation, Nevada County Community Library, Nevada County Fairgrounds, Mud Hut Kids, Placer Nature Center, Shady Creek Summer Camp, Stitch Vixen Sewing Co., Summer Junior Tennis Camps/The Ridge Racquet Club, The Salvation Army Del Oro, Summer Sensation/Sierra Presbyterian Church, The Flying Heart Ranch, The Center of the Arts, Whole Music Camp and Wild Mountain Yoga Summer Camp for Girls.
