Nevada City Farm to Table dinner and play tickets
Have I mentioned how much I love our little town lately? The photo above is from last year’s Nevada City Farm to Table event— and if you act really fast, you can grab a seat at this year’s event, tickets went on sale this morning, mark you calendar for Sunday, August 10th 7-11pm. Anytime a town throws a dinner party in the middle of the street with farm fresh ingredients is a reason to celebrate in my book.
I’ve got some tickets to give away for some two upcoming plays this week. If you’re interested in a family of 4 pack to see the Secret Garden by Quest Theatreworks at the Burton Homestead on Friday, July 18th or a pair of tickets to see Alices and Wonderland at The Center for the Arts by PAG, please post a comment here and tell me which show you would prefer. Winner will be announced on Thursday, July 17th. And the winner of the tickets to see Peter Pan is Naima.

Would love tickets to farm to table. Just worked Nevada county booth at state fair and great photos of event are highlighted. Guess who the photographer of event is???? 🙂
Thanks Cindy for the comment, I’m not giving away tickets to the Farm to Table dinner, just the local theater productions (which one has your vote?). And did you take any photos of the fair booth?
I really enjoy your photography and news, but the latest photo of Broad St. with STOP at the bottom was totally amazing. At what hour of the day does our street have no cars parked? Keep up the good work. I really look forward to your blog.
Thanks Ginny, I took that photo at 6am, the early bird gets the worm 🙂
Only 9 tix left! This is going to be a 5 hour sell-out – EXCITING!
You’ll be able to say “I was in the know…” and got a ticket.
WE LOVE THE SECRET GARDEN. Can’t wait to see this play and it is being performed at one of our favorite places in Nevada County, the Burton Homestead!
Thank you Quest for all the cool experiences you provide for the children of this community (and adults).

Agreed that it is pretty amazing to be able to experience a work of art out in nature. Thanks for your comment.
I would like Alice in Wonderland, but it is a super hard choice. I’ve always loved The Secret Garden.
Well I’ll put you in pool for either or…. thanks for your comment.
The Farm to Table dinner looks awesome! Love the lights above the tables!
I’d love to see Alice in Wonderland!
Funny, Denise the lights are a point of contention for some… I personally think they are beautiful too. Alice in Wonderland should be fun.
I would take either, just wish my daughter was here to enjoy it!
Always fun to support local theater, even if you’re missing your date.
Alice in Wonderland gets my vote!
Thanks.
Alice in Wonderland for the Whites!
And Erin….thank you again for all your posts and photos!!! Nevada County is blessed to have you!
Thanks Sammie, funny I feel the same way about being blessed to live in Nevada County. (But feel free to tell anyone who asks that I accept bribes).
Secret garden…
Thanks Joan for the comment, thinking of you!
