Nevada City Film Festival
The Nevada City Film Festival is coming to town, September 5th-8th. Hopefully you’re ready for 4 days of international independent films, 2 nights of live comedy, 3 director spotlights, and more. To see the full list of events click here and to purchase your tickets click here. It’s a busy weekend in town, so start planning your social calendar so you can do it all! Thanks to Festival Director Jesse Locks, the Outside Inn has a special giveaway. We’ve got tickets for the opening night “The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly” plus a special “NC Locals Bag” filled with goodies like NCFF t-shirt, 1 year membership to the Magic Lantern Film Society, and the book 1001 Movies You Must See Before You Die. Please post a comment about what they love at NCFF and I’ll draw the winner on Wednesday, September 4th.

Original stuff, not Hollywood formulated pablum, is what I crave on the silver screen.
Sounds like a fantastic way to spend the evening!
I love that our small town has such a rich and thriving arts scene. As filmmakers ourselves, my husband and I chose to move here expressly because of the way Nevada City nurtures the arts. The NCFF brings incredible original works to the foothills and gives us a chance to mingle and inspire each other as artists and as neighbors!
I’ll bring the popcorn! Sounds like a great lineup.
I love film festival season. There is always something new to be excited about!
I love that our community had fun and exciting events such as this. It’s the main reason I moved here.
This is so typical of Nevada City. We are so lucky and special!
I love the Love that every person gives in for this to happen!
