The weather was perfect last night for Nevada City First Friday Art Walk.   It was nice to see some of the downtown shops stay open late and welcome locals and visitors to stop in.  To learn more about the event, follow their Facebook page, thanks to Cynthia from Neva Co for organizing the downtown gathering.  For photos from previous years check out the blog archives (herehere, here, here and here for some of my favorites).  I love that our community continually opens its doors and celebrates the arts.  It was amazing to watch The Aerial Lab perform in the middle of the street.  While I didn’t make it to all the stops, photographs include: KitkitdizziLeeAnn Brook Fine Art Gallery, Osborn Woods Gallery at the Miners FoundryMama Madrone’sNeva Co Artisans Boutique and music by Rockabilly Lovecats.  Mark your calendars for the two remaining events this year: July 7th and August 4th.  Thanks Robin, from RHM Images for a couple extra photos.  Did you go?  Share your photos on Instagram with #VisitNevadaCity.  And for those of you who are trying to keep track of all the things to do, check out weekly events board, updated every Tuesday.
