Nevada City Halloween Activities

Are you ready for Halloween? Nevada City always goes so over the top with the festivities. We’re excited for the downtown events, Nevada City Chamber of Commerce and The County are hosting a kid friendly activity from 3-5pm at the Rood Center and downtown from 3-6pm. The Nevada County Library welcomes you to Spooky Boooky Book Giveaway with face painting, games, stories, and the event raffle.

If you’re looking for more Halloween activities Downtown Grass Valley has their annual trick or treating event for pre school kids, plus the adorable annual dog parade. And if you need a last minute costume, make sure to stop in Solstice in downtown Nevada City for some creative ideas. Who’s heading to the see The Polish Ambassador or the Disco Inferno at The Miners Foundry? There are lots of other fun events in town, check out the Gold Crush Climbing Gym Circus Party, BYLT Trail or Treat, Gold Vibe Kombuchary Halloween Extravaganza, Twin Cities Fall Family Festival, The Center for The Arts Family Fun Day, live music at The Stone House, Crazy Horse Saloon, Fantasia Halloween Ball at Bodhi Hive.

We’ve loved having happy campers at the Inn Town Campground, lots of great ways to celebrate the holiday while spending time outside.
