Nevada City Mardi Gras Parade
Nevada City Mardi Gras parade is always a colorful event. Thanks to the Nevada City Chamber of Commerce for organizing the parade. Great to see Samba Drop, NEO, Nevada City Soapbox Derby, Curious Forge, Claude the fire-breathing dragon, the Mardi Gras King & Queen (Paul Emery and Gretchen Bond), Merry Widow Society, to name a few, out on the streets celebrating our small town joy. I loved the festive masks, bright beads and watching people enjoying the beautiful afternoon. For blog posts from previous years check out the blog: Mardi Gras 2014, Mardi Gras 2013, Mardi Gras 2012, Mardi Gras 2011. What’s your favorite part of the Mardi Gras weekend?
Incredible photos Erin, Claude (haha) and the rest of such a colorful day! Taking the camera the streets is definitely the way to go 🙂
Thanks Jenny, and always good to know when you see me out and about that I’m on the go girl.
