National Coffee Day
In preparation for National Coffee Day (Sunday, September 29th) I’ve put together a coffee round up to help celebrate all things coffee in Nevada City & Grass Valley. There are so many great places to enjoy a cup of coffee in Nevada County, so I’ve put together a few caffeine infused reminders and some fun giveaways.

So, who needs a cup of coffee? While coffee is grown in small batches all over the world, Carolines Coffee co-owner Holly Fike explained, “The only place where coffee is commercially grown in the United States is Hawaii, so in honor of National Coffee Day, we want to celebrate those farmers around the world who bring us our daily cup.” They have generously put together a special #NationalCoffeeDay giveaway celebrating the global coffee community, post a comment on this blog post and we’ll give one lucky winner a special coffee crate with a selection of coffees from around the world. *Edited to say the winner is Steph.

As one who drinks coffee for dessert (cream and sugar), it pleases me to see my all-time favorite stops in your post and it reminds me of a few oldies that I have not visited for a bit. I’ll make an adjustment!

Great list for coffee lovers for their “daily cup”. Another great place in Nevada City that wasn’t listed (sadly) is The Sugar Shack. Chaloe the owner makes awesome coffee drinks, and homemade delicious bake goods to go along with that perfect “cup”. Happy National Cup Day!!
Hot morning coffee turns in to iced coffee for me later in the day, so I drink it all day long. 🙂 And I wonder why I don’t sleep…

We are so lucky to have so many great cafe’s in our small town!
I love to treat myself to a special made coffee every now and then. However, I always order the exact same drink. I would love to receive a variety of different drinks to sample. Who knows, I might end up with a new favorite! ☕
So many great spots to drink coffee! Unfortunately, I can’t seem to leave the house without coffee first, so I rarely get to have a morning cup out.

Coffee is the best! Most days I wish I had an I.V. drip full of the stuff lol And we really do have some great coffee shops around here, Fable is right by my work so I go there often and try their unique coffee blends. I think it’s great to support our local small coffee shops!
Did you say coffee?! I’ve been enjoying coffee in Italy and Portugal for almost 2 weeks, but there’s nothing like the grand variety of coffee we can get at home. I’ll be back late on the 28th—just in time for national coffee day!
