Nevada County Concert Band

The Nevada County Concert Band Picnic & Pops Concert in Pioneer Park series celebrates “Burning Band” on Sunday, July 23rd. The free outdoor concert series returns with guest musicians from up and down the west coast, doubling our band size to well over 100 musicians with this 50^th anniversary of 1967’s Summer of Love. Sunday’s concert will include shout outs to “The Blues Brother Revue”, “Encanto”, “The Summer of ’69” and a “Beatles Medley.” The family friendly show is from 5-7pm. Bring a picnic, a beverage and/or enjoy an ice cream from Lazy Dog Ice Cream. If you’ve never been to one of the shows, bring your lawn chairs or a picnic blanket.
