Had a wonderful breakfast at Summer Thymes last week during the “soft opening” and enjoyed every bite. Wishing them the best of luck and congratulations on the new location. Love the food and the design!
Aren’t you impressed that you went there before I blogged about it?
Yay! I’m excited to visit the new location!
Great refueling options.
I’m looking forward to visiting them in their new location. I’ve missed them being at Booktown but we usually are able to get something taste from them at the Nevada City Farmer’s Market in the summer.
Books and coffee is indeed a great combination, but now you can add wine to the mix, guess you’ll just have to bring your book?
Referred some people from out of town to go to the new digs without having gone there myself. They called me afterward to say it was a fantastic breakfast!
Love their granola and tofu salads.
Love the idea of eating granola and tofu in one meal 🙂
Well I know my breakfast photographed well, but it was also tasty, now I’m thinking I have to go eat a scone, eggs and one of those cheesecake muffins.
Looks delicious! I will be in soon!
Sounds like they’ve had a great turn out so far.
So happy the new location is open! Looking forward to a coffee and sweet goodie there soon!
There are plenty suggestions on which ones to order, you guys are making me hungry.
Congrats to Amy and Chamba!! They are such nice and talented people who create such delicious food, in such a gorgeous setting. They recycle everything and compost all food waste, even when they cater. They help KVMR tremendously with our Celtic Festival by catering to the artists. Our Celtic Festival is famous around the world because the international artists rave about their back stage experience mostly because of Summer Thymes’ food and the cool people who serve it up.
Gluten free blueberry muffin + mocha is it for me.
Thanks Glen for sharing, love the idea of composting all food, even on the go at events, that takes serious dedication.
It looks fantastic! Great to have easy parking there too.
Any of the scones or baked goods are delicious! But my favorite thing in probably the huevos rancheros….. yum yum!
You are not alone with that vote, guess it’s a popular item.
Enjoyed our first visit to the new place with our reservation early on! Still a sweet place! Love the kids kitchen…nice touch! And the wooden coin for your favorite highlighted charity…unique & special!
Great reminder about the wooden coin!
It looks great in there! Can’t wait to check it out. I, of course, love their bread. Yummy!
You can always use it as market research excuse.
I love Amy & Chamba and their whole crew! Sipped a fantastic mocha and had a delicious chocolate croissant on Family & Friends Day before they opened their gorgeous new space to the public… Can’t wait to have dinner there sometime soon!
You can never go wrong with a chocolate croissant.
I love all the treats at summer thyme. My favorite is Sunday breakfast and their huevos rancheros!! Yum!!
I love the new Summer Thymes space! The kids love the mini muffins, and I enjoy their bagels. Sandwiches for lunch are fantastic. Can’t wait to try them for dinner soon!
Yum! Looks delish. We may ave to add ths to our “to do” list when we come up in February. I’d really like to see that painting closer as well!
Your to do list is going to be long, maybe you need to stay for a longer visit? The art is special, I have a few more photos I should post on my Flickr account (still on the to do list).
I love the all “special diet” items availabl. But my favorite is the sticky bun! Not too sweet and plenty of delicious pecans.
What sort of special diet options? Are you thinking gluten free? Vegan? Veggie?
My 3 year old daughter and I were just talking this morning about what our favorite Summerthyme’s treat is. Any kind of mini-muffin (her) and Chocolate Chip Cheesecake muffin (me.) We love that place!
Chocolate Chip Cheesecake, yes please! And the new kids space is great, lots more space.
Very excited to see the new place!
Thanks Cristine, great to see local businesses growing.
Summer Thyme’s is now even more wonderful than ever! My new favorite treat is the Pear Cardamom Scone 🙂 Great photos Erin!
Oh that sounds tasty, will have to give it a try. Thanks for the compliment on the photos.
Cinnamon rolls, good coffee, jazz, and art. Great breakfast combo. Now expanding to dinner.
Love the idea of cinnamon rolls, coffee, jazz and art all in one breath. I liked your photo from the soft opening.
I just moved here so haven’t had a chance to eat there. Thanks for the heads up! I’m excited to try it out. I’m especially looking forward to eating one of those beautiful scones!
I’ve enjoyed croissants the best.
Yum, really, how can you go wrong with a croissant? Especially warm.
I’m so glad that Summer Thyme’s has extended their hours with this move. The breakfast burrito is my favorite thing to get!
Hard to pick a favorite treat, but I’ve been on a restritcted diet for a while and have loved the paleo muffins, and the vegan brownies! So helpful that it’s easy to get an ingredient list. Either one accompanied by a coffee beverage (usually a half calf americano with extra room) is surely a treat!
It would be hard to decide! Summer Thyme’s offers to many wonderful things! I had this thing for awhile where I often craved their BBQ chicken sandwich. Also love their zucchini/carrot muffins.
I love that you went for the healthy muffin choice when others went for the sweet options.
Great community spot and great food. They respect artists and musicians, so refreshing. Their paleo bread is very fab. Love the caps, made carefully, love the people who work there, great breakfasts, glad there will be beer and wine.
Oh, how I love Summer Thyme’s.. let me count the ways; berry & cream cheese muffin’s & scone’s, turkey pesto sambo’s, monster taco’s, sweet potato quisadilla’s, smoothies, fresh coffee & latte!
Are you going to eat all of that in one sitting?
I’ve never been to Summer Thyme, but am REALLY looking forward to it when we visit the Outside Inn in June! Hurry up summer! 🙂
Funny, it feels like June right now, we’re all a bit confused with 70 degree days, perhaps you should come now?
Love the new digs. Best oatmeal cookie I have EVER had. Thanks again to another blog post I was able to see whose open where.
An oatmeal cookie sounds good, you know me Ruth, I try….
I’m anxious to check out the new location! Their Spinach Ravioli Salad is a favorite of mine! As for goodies, I had a tart with a custard filling topped with strawberries that was divine!
Excited to visit the new location. This is my favorite place to take my grandchildren for Afternoon Tea Time after picking them up from school. The food, music, art and welcoming atmosphere lends itself to creating happy memories for Granny and Grandkids.
And wait till you see the cute mini kids kitchen.
My favorite treat is the gluten free blueberry muffins. Last week I had a blueberry Danish with a lemon cream that was, oh, too good! I love the design and layout of Summer Thyme’s new location.
Thanks Tana, it’s great to see the comments about your art show, do you have a date yet for the artist reception?
My fave: pumpkin muffins–both kinds (with nuts or cheesecake center).
Oh sounds delicious! Especially with a cup of coffee.
