The Center for the Arts Open Studios Art Tour

The 2015 Fall Colors Open Studios & Art Tours continues this Saturday & Sunday. If you missed the opening weekend or didn’t make it to see all 70+ artists in 46 different studios, there’s still time this weekend. You can check out all the individual artists’ websites on The Center for the Arts’ event page (scroll down below the map) or if you want to download the program. I love the opportunity to see inside the artists’ creative spaces and get a feel for how they create their work. Artist and DANK member Roseanne Burke told me, “It’s a great event to be able to interact with people and art lovers and a unique opportunity to make a connection with the artists.” Make sure to check for information on live demos: painting, stone carving, sculpting, encaustic wax process, metal jewelry making, watercolors and more.
