Outside Inn Lasers and Lights
The Outside Inn’s creek side patio has a unique laser show. If you’ve never had the opportunity to check out the magical lasers, stop by, you can see the display from East Broad Street. Lasers and Lights, a Nevada City company, offers “a landscape laser that creates a dazzling array of fire fly lights, laser beams and Bliss Lights” explained owner Bruce Beeley. “The projection covers 160 degrees, everything you can see without turning your head is covered with beams.” Lasers and Lights opened for business in 2007 and has sold tens of thousands of projectors around the world. The Outside Inn was fortunate enough to get the first design for the outdoor model, but now has the Bliss Lights “motion” to create a magical display in our backyard. I thought I was seeing some beautiful magic when driving by the other night. Wondered what is was and here is the answer.

The Bliss Lights are a lot of fun. I first saw them last May when a friend set one up under the dogwoods at Housekeeping Camp in Yosemite. I was so impressed that I bought a green Bliss Light last November to illuminate the front of our Nevada City home.
