Pete’s Pizza
Pete’s Pizza in downtown Grass Valley recently opened their expanded location and tap house. Stone baked pizza, by the slice or whole pie, now located at 114 W. Main Street. You can stop in and have a beverage, your choice of 14 draft beers, plus root beer and cider on tap and grab a meatball sub or salad. Click here to check out their menu online. Open 7 days a week and open late. If you haven’t been in yet, or want an excuse to go back, I’ve got a special giveaway to one lucky blog reader. Post a comment here on your favorite pizza and one lucky person will win a $20 gift certificate and a Pete’s Pizza t-shirt, winner announced on Wednesday, June 3rd.

Do I really have to have 14 beers or can I have just one with my slice of pizza??
Good point, you can have one. But you have a choice of 14.
Phew! Now I have to decide which beer pairs best with which pizza…lol
Yummmm. Margarita pizza!
Can’t go wrong with that option.
This sounds like a trick question. My favorite pizza is…pizza! No matter how you slice it, pizza is edible gold. (Although I think more people should slice theirs in squares like they do in Chicago. That’s cool.) I will close by saying, Pizza Forever!
I love that you think it’s a trick question… Pizza Forever my friend.
A combo sounds really good right now. 🙂
Agreed.
Slice on combo, no onions or bell peppers, extra olive and mushrooms. Okay, now I am seriously hungry. 🙂
What’s wrong with onions and bell peppers? I’m going to eat pizza with you and have extra onions and bell peppers 🙂
Hmmm. If we order pizza from Pete’s I don’t have to cook tonight. Great idea! How about veggie combination??!!
Creative solution…
Oh, this sounds great. I’m so hungry right now that I had to stop everything and comment. But unless I win in the next 15 minutes, I’m going to have to go scrounge something up from my fridge. Seriously, we can’t have too many brew pubs…can’t wait to go check it out.
Sorry you didn’t win at that moment in time, and don’t worry the comments were making me hungry too (even the photos, and I ate some of the food in the photos). Love that you’re a fan of multiple brew pubs, cheers.
I don’t mean to be a contrarian but is there anything better than a good meatball sub sandwich ad a pint of great beer? That’s what I’ll be having!
Way to march to beat of your own drum, nothing wrong with a meatball sandwich (well maybe if you were a vegetarian). Cheers.
It took me a long time to try Pete’s but once I did, I was hooked!! I can’t believe I wasted so much time missing out 🙁 I’m really happy they got to expand the GV location!
Well at least they’re expanding, instead of going out of business. I’ve certainly had those experiences where you discover the next best thing and then they’re gone.
Yuba (Oh, Yeah!)
Momma loves her garlic!
You can’t go wrong with Pepperoni!
My kids would certainly second you on that one.
Hands down, the Mediterranean! Because goat cheese and green olives. Love the new location. It’s a cool space.
THE CONAMARA WITH GARLIC,OLIVE OIL,CHICKEN,ARTICHOKE HEARTS,MUSHROOMS AND PARMESAN CHEESE.GLUTEN FREE CRUST! YOU CAN DO WITHOUT THE CHICKEN .YUMM! I HAVE NEVER HAD A BAD EXPERIENCE AND THERE FOOD IS ALWAYS FRESH! THE NEW LOCATION ON MAIN GIVES THEM BETTER EXPOSURE,
Oh, yum! I’ve yet to try Pete’s Pizza, so I can’t comment on my favorite … I’ve got to get in there and give them a try! Thanks for the giveaway, Erin.
Thanks for the heads up. I’ve been to the location in Nevada City, but not recently. Our favorite pizza is our special “pick your toppings” – mushrooms, black olives, spinach, artichoke hearts and pepperoni – red onions if we’re in the mood.
The YUBA is my favorite Pizza & I also like to have their “Chicken & Chips”. Yummy!!!
Sausage and mushroom please. My mouth is watering thinking about it.
Mmmmm, I love the margherita – simple and delish. But the Mediterranean is another fave in this house! Good thing it’s almost pizza night 🙂
I think the best thing about this place( other than the pizza) is the name. It is very distinguished and denotes quality….what?… Just sayin
Margarita pizza is the best!!!! Mmm, pizza and beer!!!
Love their new location and the Conamara pizza.
Yuba!
I love their gluten free pizza!
I’ve yet had the pleasure of consuming one of your seemingly delicious Pizza Pies, but would love an excuse to travel an hour + to try one! Livin’ in loyalton w/family residing in beautiful Grass Valley area.
really .. anything w/ mushroom, olives, and spinach sounds about right!
Cheese … (with pineapple and maybe ham)
Love the vegetarian pizza!
Also, can I just say that the employees at Petes Pizza are the sweetest? When our daughter was much smaller, they would bake a piece of pizza dough just for her, that was shaped into the letter ‘B.’ (Her name is Beau.) This made for one very happy little girl. Happy to support this place.
I’ve never actually had Pete’s pizza … but like mushrooms, and excited to see their new place!
Meaty meaty meaty!
The new location looks awesome! I love the margherita pizza.
Everyone deserves an opportunity to enjoy hot pizza and a cold beverage accompanied by a team of great people. The new spot is awesome, hope to see you there. Cheers, Pete’s Pizza and Tap House.
We’re so lucky to have Pete’s within walking distance!!! A ginormous $5 slice of pizza for a workday lunch treat makes for a happy weekday worker!
Working next door to Pete’s…I’m always in luck for a quick snack! Veggie with pesto is hard to beat.
So excited for their new space! We love Pete’s!
I create my own- white sauce with jalapeños.. They make it for me with a perfect thin crust… So good!
Hmmmm. Maybe I should take a couple of slices of their Yuba pizza down to the river for a pizza picnic!
I love the new Pete’s location! Great seating and space with good pizza and beer.
