Nevada City Phoenix Rose Retail Shop

The Phoenix Rose recently opened its doors at 313 Broad Street in downtown Nevada City.  The clothing shop features  by Phoenix Rising Designs, the brain child of  Isaac Rappaport and Jessica Bottomley.  “Our original passion has always been performance art and dance, beginning with fire dancing and stiltwalking,” explained Jessica.  The new shop includes Asli Designs, Leom Designs, Paradigm Shift Jewelry, Liquid Fire Mantra Jewelry and Gypsy Monkey Designs.   Open every day but Tuesday (12-6pm Monday/Wednesday/Thursday, 12-8pm Friday and Saturday and 12-5 Sunday), stop in to the new shop and check it out, even if you’re not heading to Burning Man, you might find something unique, whether it’s a children’s clothing, a man’s leather jacket, leggings or belt.  Please tell them that the Outside Inn sent you in to say hi.  Phoenix Rose is still working on their grand opening party, but looks forward to participating in the upcoming First Friday Art Walk in Nevada City on June 7th from 5-9pm.

What a nice blog! Comments and photos are great to create community.
I know that months and months (perhaps more like years and years) of planning and visioning have gone into this. I saw it several months ago and cannot wait to walk in the front door and drink it all in.
We love Nevada City and think this is a perfect match! How fun!
