Nevada City Farm to Table Dinner

Tonight was yet another one of those magical Nevada City experiences you just had to be there to experience.  Reinette Senum organized the first annual Nevada City Farm to Table Banquet to benefit the Nevada City Boardwalk and recruited help from a number of local organizations and businesses to help, including Shanan Manuel’s Sierra Farm to Table catering.  Commercial Street downtown was transformed into outdoor restaurant with Watermelon Gazpacho,  Chimichurri Chicken with Pomegranate Salsa with Treats Ice Cream and fresh berries.  Thanks to Nevada City Chamber of Commerce for pouring Clavey Vineyard’s wine and Sierra Nevada Pale Ale.  Everyone enjoyed the live music s from Ragged But Right and The Earles of Newtown and the screening of “Safety Last” by the Nevada City Film Festival.  Many thanks to our community for working together to create such a beautiful experience, Reinette, we all want to know when you’re going to do it again?
