Families have been visiting Feather River Family Camp near Quincy since 1924. It’s owned by the city of Oakland, but anyone can go. Some our family’s best memories have been made there. Stay in a tent-cabin with beds and electricity, enjoy three meals a day with other families, join in all the activities including free childcare, horseback riding, creek-swimming. Hot showers and a big bathtub for the kids included. No camping gear needed. Very affordable! See http://featherrivercamp.com/
Absolutely love your blog! Been following for two years. We WILL reciprocate by staying a weekend at your place, or the new camping ground. How do you get info on being a camp vendor at this event? Nevada County Country Club has a golf camp every year open to the public for kids 8-14 and we would love to get the word out to more families
Thanks for this amazing list of opportunities for kids in Nevada County. What an amazing place for scheduled and unscheduled exploration. The river, the forests, the lakes, the mountains .. so fun.
