Tess’ Kitchen Store Cooking Classes
Tess’ Kitchen Store in downtown Grass Valley launched their cooking school this evening with “Wow Desserts.” Roberta and crew seamlessly taught the class the start to finish process of Linzer Tart, Mousse Parfait and Pecan Tartlets. The class was a sweet treat for all who participated, with useful information on kitchen basics to more advance techniques on impressing your next dinner party. Steve, owner of Tess’ Kitchen, has offered up a special giveaway to help celebrate the new classes. Post a comment on this blog post about what kind of cooking class you’d like to take and I’ve got four $10 off coupons towards a class, I’ll draw the winner Wednesday, December 12th. And the winner for the Yuba Blue giveaway is Erin Dixon.

This looks inspiring and amazing… A sugar cookies class or slow cooker/soup class is where I am searching at the moment.
I’d love a cooking class on fish cooking techniques. I’ve never learned to cook fish well, so I basically avoid it. Also, a class on various kinds of egg dishes – from poached eggs to souffles.
I want to take THAT class! YUM!!
How fun! Great pics:)
Pizza!!!
I would like a class on vegetarian entrees to make ahead for dinner parties (lasagna, casseroles. etc.)
These photos are so beautiful, warm, and scrumptious. Thank you for sharing, Erin!
Wow…what great photos and what great fun. I want a class in gourmet anything for my husband to take!
I would love to learn some yummy new desserts to serve family and friends. I have seen the new kitchen Tess has installed upstairs at their store. Great job….
I’m proud to call Roberta a dear friend and look forward to taking one of her classes in this lovely new kitchen. As always Erin, your photos are outstanding!
I would take any class that Roberta is teaching!
But if I had to choose one class I’d love to learn
more about making soups!
Northern Italian, please…or Asian Noodle Bowls:)))
I would love to take a vegitarian cooking class or healthy baking
I love baking, so a cookie or dessert baking class sounds like fun to me!

I’d like a class on fruit pies and pastries.
I met Roberta the other day and thought she was delightful….and the cooking classes sounded amazing! I think it will be a big hit!
I would love to learn some authentic Mexican dishes.
Thanks Erin for the great blog!
