TGIF Nevada City.  Lots of great events this weekend, if you missed my Outside Inn Facebook post about my weekly happenings, click here to see my weekly Pinterest round-up.  Nevada City First Friday Art Walk finishes their 2015 season tonight, stop by downtown between 5-9pm to check out live music by Be Brave Bold Robot, art showcases and more.

While tonight marks the end of Cynthia Levesque’s end as the organizer of the First Friday Art Walk ( click here for past Art Walk photos), it’s not the end of Nevada City First Friday Art Walk.  Board member Cathy Theobald said, “We’d like to thank Cynthia Levesque for all she’s done. Her vision and energy infused our community with a celebratory spirit that has become quite contagious. We’re very enthusiastic about crafting our next incarnation of First Friday Art Walk under new leadership, beginning with the new Art Walk season in Spring of 2016. It will give us a chance to reflect on the success experienced over the past 3 seasons and develop opportunities for growth as we continue to build upon what the board began under Cynthia Levesque’s leadership. That being said, there is still a lot to accomplish with our 2015 season before we can wrap it up and set the stage for next season’s success, so let’s get back to walkin’!”
