Victorian Christmas

Nevada City’s Victorian Christmas holiday street fair kicked off the 2013 season.  The downtown event continues the following two Wednesdays, December 11th and 18th (5-9 pm) and Sunday December 15th and 22nd (1:30-6 pm).  Come wander the streets of Nevada City sipping mulled wine, shop in the local shops or street booths and watch the entertainment (click here on some more info on Izzi Tooinsky’s shows).  I love the opportunity to hear the various musicians on the streets performing their holiday favorites.  Bundle up, the evenings get chilly, but it’s a great opportunity to get into the holiday spirit and most likely bump into someone you know.  Happy Holidays, and if you missed my epic giveaway post from earlier this week, click here, ’tis the season to give back to the community. © 2013 InnSide Nevada City, © Photos by Erin Thiem
