Nevada County Wedding

Nevada City Wedding

Are you getting married?  Nevada City & Grass Valley are amazing spots that offers a little of something for everyone, whether you want a rustic barn wedding, a large outdoor setting or the unique feel of the Miners Foundry. If you’re planning a wedding, or just day dreaming about the special day, check out the upcoming event Grass Valley Wedding Fair at the Nevada County Fairgrounds this Sunday, January 19th, 12-4pm.  For a full list of vendors and activities and door prizes for the event, click here.  With so many great venues in Nevada County, you can really create an event that fits your feel.

“Our sweet county is truly the plethora of amazing ways to host large or small wedding celebrations. Our vendors are one of a kind, offering all types of artistic talent in photography, floral, design help, hair/makeup, music and some of the best caterers, that are incredibly priced and professional.  Make a whole weekend of the event and guests can roam our sweet cities, shopping and enjoying the delicious restaurants,” said Wild and Lovely Events wedding coordinator Gianna Zydonis.  Her top three tips are, “Book everything as far advance as possible.  Always get hotel reservations, we don’t have a ton of options on larger weekends, and because our cute town does so many wonderful things, it can be hard to secure places for your families to stay.   Enjoy the process! Allow yourself wiggle room and knowledge that not everything will go perfectly.”

“Nevada County weddings are truly special because of the diversity in scenery & venues, and also vendors.  This area seems to attract creative people, therefore we have a large number of wedding professionals with different styles & immense talent.  I feel grateful to be surrounded by so much beauty & inspiration” said wedding photographer Kathryn White.

“Nevada County has become an increasingly popular location for weddings over the last five years.  We have a wide range of venues as well as talented professionals able to meet any style and budget.  Many of our couples plan destination weddings to Nevada County and love the variety of activities we are able to offer their guests, from wine tasting and shopping to mountain biking and hiking along the Yuba River, plus a strong arts and culture scene.  It’s truly an ideal spot for a memorable celebration,” explained Miners Foundry event coordinator Kat Kress.
