David McKay was my photography teacher at Sierra College. what a fun class!
I would definitely pick the Seasons of Nevada County. That firework picture sold me!
I’m a late spring/early summer kind of gal …
love the green, the poppies, the lush buds of growth on the oaks .. the river flows, the sunny ski days … the lengthening days …
: )
Spring as well !
Seasons of Nevada County! Gorgeous–would love to win one!
I like the winter rains best when it’s cold and damp in the river canyon.
My favorite – September. Long, warm days that are still great for a dip in the river, a long bike ride to Malakoff Diggins, or a hike to Rush Creek Falls… but outside the craziness of full-bore summer. (But all the seasons are great!)
After looking at pictures, the whole year seem spectacular in Nevada County. I was last up there in June and enjoyed the Summer season 🙂
I’d have to say those wonderful winter snow days! Just enough to close school and do some sledding, but not so much that you need to shovel your driveway. 😉
Normally, I would say Winter because until this September that had been the only season I had been there. But, ahhhh….early September! It was beautiful…bike rides, long days, shorts, and the beautiful river. I think I need to try spring and fall for a definitive!
I love fall up here – especially before it starts to rain. The colors are usually fabulous and I like the crispness in the air in the mornings.
What a delightful way to acquire the best calendar available out there. David McKay shares his love of photography of our majestic Gold Country. I appreciate an opportunity to own the best of Nevada County Seasons, by David McKay. Home is where the heart lies, and it rests here in beautiful Nevada County. Happy Autumn!
Looks like two great calendars!
My favorite season here is definitely the fall! I love the colors and the weather!
Fall all the way! I’m an east coast transplant, and love our fall colors. This year has been especially beautiful!
